I love chocolate. While I do indulge in a piece on a regular basis, the true appeal for me is in the challenge of working with it. I have cooked since I was a small child and did so professionally for a few years before starting my family. I returned to the food world after a prolonged hiatus and focused on chocolate. It is truly one of the most difficult foods to manipulate. This diva of the culinary world requires that it be treated just so or it will seize up or find some other way to refuse to behave and make me crazy. Ironically, this is what attracts me to working with it. What I truly love though are the people that love chocolate. When a chocolate lover eats a chocolate they like, there is an immediate physical and emotional reaction that people don’t normally censor. Food in general does this, but there is something inherently sensual about chocolate that exaggerates this reaction, intensifies it. This is why I am a chocolatier. I enjoy creating something that elicits this response and so I started Wicked Bonbon Chocolatier with my husband and partner Alex Fields. All of our chocolates are handmade here on the rugged Mendocino Coast using the finest organic ingredients available. We are excited to introduce our new line of Arts & Crafts inspired chocolates: Cocoa Bungalow, featuring designs reminiscent of the Macintosh Rose Arts & Crafts tiles from the early 20th century. Please enjoy these stunning, delicious treats, made by hand using the finest organic ingredients available. We hope that these chocolates give you that sensual, physical and emotional reaction that keeps you coming back for more!

Wicked Bonbon uses organic ingredients including our cream, butter, sugar, peanut butter, peppermint, orange & safflower oil, Valencia oranges, cayenne pepper, and of course, our chocolate. Please store tightly wrapped in plastic in the refrigerator until ready to eat, but allow the chocolate to come to room temperature before eating. We do not use preservatives and we highly recommended that our chocolates be eaten within two weeks of purchase.

We are proud to use El Rey Venezuelan chocolates exclusively. El Rey offers gourmet chocolate made from fairly traded cacao beans direct from small and large-scale growers in Venezuela. El Rey teaches the growers in their collective how to manage the soil in a sustainable agricultural system promoting natural cycles without chemical pesticides or fertilizers and how to ferment each cacao harvest to earn the best price.

Allergy Warning: Wicked Bonbon, LLC produces all our chocolates, including Cocoa Bungalow, in a facility that also processes: Apples, Berries, Black Tea, Coconut, Coffee, Corn, Eggs, Mushrooms, Rice, Seaweed, Sesame, Soy, Stone Fruits, Tree Nuts, Wheat.
